Alan Highton is one of the leading
tour guides in Venezuela and has been recomended by Lonely Planet for 15 years. He is a naturalist, photographer and tour operator. With over 25 years of experience in the jungles, he has earned the nickname Alanconda.
Alan is an expert in the animals and fauna of the tropics and has worked with Ian Wright in Los Llanos filming giant anacondas. His work has been published in National Geographic. And in 2010 he assisted Brian Cox on a BBC investigation on the mysteries of the lightning of Catatumbo.
